Registry Trust has a complaints reviewer who is appointed by our board. The Reviewer looks at complaints about Registry Trust. The Reviewer can look at how Registry Trust have handled the complaint but they cannot decide what is published on the public Register, nor can they instruct changes to the Register on behalf of a consumer.
Independent Complaints Reviewer
Frances is a consumer policy specialist. She is a member of the Legal Services Consumer Panel, the Board of the Motor Ombudsman, the Board of the Consumer Code for Home Builders where she also chairs the Disciplinary and Sanctions Panel and a member of the Finance and Leasing Association’s Lending Code of Practice Committee.
In a voluntary capacity she is Chair of Brighton and Hove Citizens Advice, a trustee and volunteer for Brighton and Hove Emmaus which helps to relieve homelessness, and a policy adviser to the training organisation, Developing Youth Practice.
In her career, Frances has worked for the National Consumer Council as Head of Policy Research and Development, the National Association of Citizens Advice Bureaux as a Specialist Support Officer, local authorities where she managed consumer advice services, and more recently she managed the West of England branch of a charity working with excluded young people.
She has also been the elected chair of Consumer Congress and the Institute of Consumer Affairs and has frequently represented consumers on government working groups.
