The Ministry of Justice (MoJ) has today announced that it will make court and tribunal judgments available online via The National Archives for the first time, increasing transparency and providing free access for all.
For the avoidance of doubt, Registry Trust, which maintains the Register of Judgements, Orders and Fines on behalf of the MoJ and makes this publicly available for a fee via its website www.TrustOnline.org.uk, can confirm that this new initiative does not include County Court Judgments (CCJs) which will remain under our remit.
While criminal cases, which we do not deal with, will now be freely available via The National Archives, CCJ data will still only be available via Registry Trust and TrustOnline.
For further information, read the full MoJ press release about this here and contact their press office. Find out more about our monetary judgment data and how it can be accessed here on our website.
