Getting an Irish Judgment Set Aside
To have a Judgment set aside, you will need to contact the Irish Court that issued the Judgment.
If an Irish Courts sets aside a Judgment, they will notify us to remove the Judgment from our public Register. You can check if a Judgment has been set aside by using our search on TrustOnline.
Judgments Paid Within a Calendar Month
If the principle sum is paid in full within a calendar month from the date of Judgment, the judgment can be removed from our public Register.
We require a letter from the Claimant on letter headed paper (where possible) which states the:
• Case Number
• Court Name
• Amount
• Date Paid in Full
Your original proof of payment can be sent by post to:

For a search of our Register confirming the Judgment has been updated, you will need to submit a cheque for £6 made payable to Registry Trust Ltd, for each named person or business at a specified address.

Please ensure that your case number and the defendant name has been noted on the electronic transfer.
We may need to contact the Claimant on your behalf if the proof of payment is insufficient.
Judgments Issued in Error
We will remove Judgments issued in error if we receive a letter from the Claimant stating the Judgment was issued in error.
We require a letter from the Claimant on letter headed paper (where possible) which states the:
• Case Number
• Court Name
• Amount
• Judgment was issued in error
